Docking and molecular dynamics simulation shows tetrahydrocannabinol(THC) disables SARS-CoV-2 virus

Scientists found tetrahydrocannabinol(THC), a cannabinoid of cannabis, gave promising results to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 virus’ Mpro protein. If the Mpro protein of SARS-CoV-2 virus is inhibited, the virus can not replicate itself, and therefore become disabled.

While testing structurally modified compounds of hydroxychloroquine, remdesivir, scientists found tetrahydrocannabinol is inhibiting SARS-CoV-2 virus to replicate significantly.

In fact, South Korean researchers have also reported that tetrahydrocannabinol(THC) disables SARS-CoV-2 virus, and it was shown to be even better than the optimal Mpro inhibitor model α-ketoamide 13b suggested by the China and Germany researchers.

I wish we could fear no more to SARS-CoV-2 virus and its mutants, as we do clearly have a cure, which is historically proven. We need to realize that we DO have alternatives other than just the controversial COVID19 vaccine. Do not panic.
